If you come to my house, you're gonna get a glamour shot!

Jacey came to our house while Jill took mom to the doctor in SLC.  Jenna couldn't wait to get her hands on Jacey's long gorgeous hair.  She asked her if she wanted "princess hair".  Well, what 5 year old girl doesn't want princess hair?  She was such a good sport and posed like a pro for a photo shoot. You HAVE to take pictures if you have princess hair.  Cute Jacey Diane!

Tayler is 6!
Cortnie and Tayler came to grandma's for a birthday party sleep over and we had "Tayler" pancakes for birthday breakfast. Followed by Jenna hair and birthday pictures. Cort and Tay know the hair drill.....they have a salon at their house!
I took this picture of Cortnie for a grandma birthday book I made for her. Cutie! Can't believe she's 10!

Sisters trip to San Diego!

We stayed on Coronado Island and made it a priority to have an ocean view at every meal.  We did it, with the exception of one lunch in the gaslight (gas lamp? I can't remember) district.  And one night we drove up to Oceanside to visit Jill's friend and ate at a mexican restaurant that probably had a view but it was dark. We can't get enough of the ocean!

Last year we started a fun tradition as sisters, we planned a long weekend getaway.  We went to Chicago and Janie showed us the town. We had so, so much fun that we have decided to do it every fall.  This year we invited mom and let her choose the city.  I think she chose San Diego so she could visit the Mormon Battalion visitors center (we were regularly reminded we have an ancestor who marched here, she would love to share his history if you're interested :))  but to her dismay it is being renovated.

Favorite Janie quote
        "I am so awesome,
if you don't believe it,
just ask me"
paraphrased and as told
by her husband.
btw: you are

me, mom, Jill
Jill: the yardstick by which niceness is measured
Mom: just laugh at yourself
We rented this surrey and pedaled it from one end of Coronado Island to the other, it was so pretty and the weather, of course, was perfect.  We flew back home to a blizzard.
The weekend was constant chatter, laughing, eating, walking, shopping, teasing.  Whenever I got a call from home it was NEVER a good time to talk because I would miss something hilarious, extremely interesting or juicy :). I'm not sure if we got it all said in 4 days! I'm so blessed to have such fun sisters and always happy mom.
