Cortnie called me the night before her program and said "Grandma, are you coming to my program tomorrow night at 6? I have a part and I was wondering if you could come." Well, there was no way I could deny that sweet little voice! Her parents were kind of surprised to see me and Jami because they didn't know Cort had called to remind me. We had talked about it a few weeks ago but didn't really make plans, so that was fun. It was so cute!
Cortnie had a big speaking part, she was part of a skit that was cute and funny and full of Utah history.
After the singing and speaking they cleared out the gym and the kids square danced and line danced for us and then they invited partners from the audience to line dance, too. Yee Haw!
Cortnie told us they had practiced twice a day for weeks preparing for the program, she said she had everyones parts memorized :)

What a cute little cowgirl! How did she get to be 10! I remember being 10!
Good job, Cort. Love you!

You really are the best grandma-to show up after being invited the night before. Looks like a darling program.
She is just growing up SO much. You are an awesome Grandma, that is for sure. I love her cute little outfit. And Women's Conference looks so fun. Maybe when Jed's in school. :)
I'm so happy you got to go, I wish we could go to stuff like that! Thanks for posting about it!
You are such a sweet grandma. Thanks for all you do for all of us. I never got around to sending you a thank you card for coming up when Garret had his bad day. I just wanted to let you know how much that meant to me. We love you!
