Happy Birthday to Jeff and Jay!
We had fun planning a surprise party for Jay this year. We heard the gondola ride at Snow Basin is great and so is the food. And the best part of a "surprise" party is that planner gets to decide where to go and what to do and not tell how much it cost....
Surprise, Grandpa!!!
Everyone was waiting to surprise Jay when we pulled into Snow Basin. Cortnie, Tayler and Kennedy came running with hugs and surprises and happy birthdays. It was so cute!
The gondola ride to the top was beautiful, you can see Pine View Lake when you get up the mountain this far. We also watched some crazy mountain bikers on the ride up.
The jazzy on the gondola.....and Grandma is afraid of heights.....you had to be there :) She was a really good sport and we were happy she could make the trip. Thank you so much Shelli and Dustin.

Jace just kept running to this window to watch the gondola. We all loved the gondola ride so much that we made an extra round on the way down the mountain. With our tummies full, some of us fell sound asleep.
The dessert table....mmmm. The best I've had at a buffet, for sure.

Jay's latest cowboy hat. It's this artsy barbed wire creation from Jeff and Jill. Another favorite of mine was the gift cards, I've been enjoying them right along with Jay, thanks! Shelli out did herself again this year with an awesome grandkids scrapbook for Jay. He's looks at it pretty much every day!

The funnest day ever!! Thanks for the yummy meal and fun ride in the gondola, it was a blast! Hope we can do it again sometime :)
