What! Another mid-life crisis!

My only comment is that I'm so happy the price of gas is down.
Not the best timing for his knee surgery but.....
look at that smile, he's a happy guy.

This is what 5.1 % body fat looks like!

I was just so impressed I had to blog it!
Garret went in for some kind of physical, work related, if I recall correctly (so don't hold me to it) and was told he measured 5.1% body fat. Isn't that better than like Lance Armstrong? Or maybe he's just skinny. Either way I told him to celebrate with a milk shake!

Garret,Trulie and Jace and Trulie's parents came down last week and we went to lunch at the train station.

If you come to my house, you're gonna get a glamour shot!

Jacey came to our house while Jill took mom to the doctor in SLC.  Jenna couldn't wait to get her hands on Jacey's long gorgeous hair.  She asked her if she wanted "princess hair".  Well, what 5 year old girl doesn't want princess hair?  She was such a good sport and posed like a pro for a photo shoot. You HAVE to take pictures if you have princess hair.  Cute Jacey Diane!

Tayler is 6!
Cortnie and Tayler came to grandma's for a birthday party sleep over and we had "Tayler" pancakes for birthday breakfast. Followed by Jenna hair and birthday pictures. Cort and Tay know the hair drill.....they have a salon at their house!
I took this picture of Cortnie for a grandma birthday book I made for her. Cutie! Can't believe she's 10!

Sisters trip to San Diego!

We stayed on Coronado Island and made it a priority to have an ocean view at every meal.  We did it, with the exception of one lunch in the gaslight (gas lamp? I can't remember) district.  And one night we drove up to Oceanside to visit Jill's friend and ate at a mexican restaurant that probably had a view but it was dark. We can't get enough of the ocean!

Last year we started a fun tradition as sisters, we planned a long weekend getaway.  We went to Chicago and Janie showed us the town. We had so, so much fun that we have decided to do it every fall.  This year we invited mom and let her choose the city.  I think she chose San Diego so she could visit the Mormon Battalion visitors center (we were regularly reminded we have an ancestor who marched here, she would love to share his history if you're interested :))  but to her dismay it is being renovated.

Me and Julie.  Julie takes 1st place for most challenging year
Janie and me
Favorite Janie quote
        "I am so awesome,
if you don't believe it,
just ask me"
paraphrased and as told
by her husband.
btw: you are

me, mom, Jill
Jill: the yardstick by which niceness is measured
Mom: just laugh at yourself
We rented this surrey and pedaled it from one end of Coronado Island to the other, it was so pretty and the weather, of course, was perfect.  We flew back home to a blizzard.
The weekend was constant chatter, laughing, eating, walking, shopping, teasing.  Whenever I got a call from home it was NEVER a good time to talk because I would miss something hilarious, extremely interesting or juicy :). I'm not sure if we got it all said in 4 days! I'm so blessed to have such fun sisters and always happy mom.

2008 Weber Volleyball Season

Jami has played volleyball for 7 years. City rec league, Cache Valley volleyball club, Mountain West and Weber volleyball club.  She has played in the Utah Summer games and in the Utah outdoor volleyball events.  She was an Orion Jr. High Titan and now she's a Weber Warrior. That's a lot of volleyball games!  It all started when Jenna was on the North Cache volleyball team and needed someone to practice with.  She would spike them at her and insisted that she bump them back in exactly the right spot.  She also taught her a killer overhand serve and made her practice to perfection.  She was really good for a little kid.  Bob King dubbed her "Spike Webb" of the Smithfield city rec 10 year old team.  One time in her PE class she bumped 115 in row, compared to the next highest of 12. I have spent many hours in noisy gymnasiums over the last few years and loved every minute of watching her.

Here is this years new black jersey

Jessica Simpson at Weber High!

We won the contest to get Jessica Simpson at our school by texting "Jessica Weber" the most times to the radio station. 581,000 texts! One kid sent 25,000 alone. No one was surprised my school won haha. My teacher let us out of class 20 minutes early so me and my friend mandy ran into the gym and fortunately we had another friend on front row! We were super squished and on laps but it was totally worth it! I got the best pictures i could but there was a guy standing in the way pretty much the whole time. There were so many cops there and i got told to back off a few times ;). Here are the best of the pictures......

She loves playing with her hair. This was how she stood the whole time pretty much.
She has on really cute jeans if you can tell!
All the student body officers got to meet her and ask her a question. This was the guy that kept being in the way. Thanks
This is when she very first walked in and we went wild! And also look how cool the cop thinks he is. You know he was screaming with excitement on the inside haha.
Look at what shirt she has on a WEBER one! Awe how nice of her.

K-Bull 93 hosted the contest so they were there too. She never sang for us she just answered questions but they showed her new music video. During the video she was singing along to herself it was cute. And of course she walked like 5 feet in front of me and my camera died!! I was sooo mad! But it was awesome to see her! She also had a Louis Vuitton bag I am sure was real in case you are wondering ;)

Fun Rexburg day!
After going to the Eastern Idaho state fair in Blackfoot we spent the next day at Shelli and Dustin's in Rexburg.  The fair was really not bad, good food....fried twinkies, hey you really have to try one. Good shopping..... knock off designer bags, turquoise jewelry.  Just like a big city mall only redneck.
And there is nothing like a Rexburg day.  We started off by waiting and watching for Kennedy to come home on the school bus. It's crazy what makes me cry!
11:40 was the perfect time to head out, sleep in a little, get ready, listen to Hudson say school bus, I think that's what he was saying.
Our favorites: the D, the gourmet cupcakes at the cocoa bean, lunch at the new italian place, I love the bubble smoothies at the bagel place, I can't remember the real name and usually we hit Artco, all paper a dollar a pound everyday. There is always some cute new business to check out. This time we went to Rigby to the Sugar Mill, some ambitious person has renovated this old sugar factory and filled it with little shops, cute!
Shelli, Kennedy, me
I just really like this because of the Eastern Idaho State Fair arch thingy :)
The photography display at the fair.
Hudson, Shelli, me, Jenna, Preslie
We ran into Soup and Elaine Jessop, good old Lewistonites enjoying the fair.
